Data retention at Her Second Birth, is where your data privacy matters.
We are committed to protecting your personal information while offering compassionate, non-clinical postpartum coaching. Therefore, this data retention and user rights summary explains how long we keep your information and what your options are under European data laws.

We retain only what we need to serve you—nothing more.

Additionally, we follow guidance from the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) to align with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

How Long We Retain Data Retention at Her Second Birth

To provide accessible postpartum coaching and maintain secure communication, we retain data based on the following:

  • Contact Form Data: Up to 12 months
  • Coaching Session Notes: Up to 2 years unless requested otherwise
  • Newsletter Subscriptions: Until you unsubscribe
  • Transaction Records: Up to 7 years for legal compliance
  • Cookies & Analytics: Up to 26 months (Google Analytics default)

In contrast to some platforms that store user data indefinitely, we conduct regular cleanups of outdated or unnecessary records. Moreover, we never store clinical health information.

Your Data Privacy Rights (Under GDPR)

As a resident of the EU or EEA, you have rights under the GDPR, including:

  • Right to Access your personal data
  • Right to Rectification of inaccurate data
  • Right to Erasure (also called the “Right to be Forgotten”)

For example, if you want your coaching history deleted, you may submit a request via email. We are committed to responding within 30 days, in line with GDPR Article 12.
