Refund and Cancellation Policy
The refund and cancellation policy for postpartum coaching at Her Second Birth. It reflects our commitment to transparency, compassion, and professionalism in every aspect of our non-clinical postpartum support services.
Moreover, setting clear boundaries, allows us to continue offering consistent and high-quality non-clinical postpartum support, to those who need it.
Session for Refund and Cancellation Policy
We understand that postpartum life can be unpredictable. For example, sleep deprivation, last-minute health concerns, or family demands can make it hard to attend a session. If you experience a genuine emergency, such as unexpected postpartum complications, please reach out. We’ll do our best to accommodate you on a case-by-case basis.
Therefore, we offer flexibility, within reasonable limits.
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours, in advance of your scheduled coaching session.
- You can cancel by emailing us at admin@hersecondbirth.com.
- Consequently, cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointments, are not eligible for rescheduling or refund.
In contrast to emergency services or clinical therapy, our coaching time is reserved specifically for you, and prepared in advance. Furthermore, late cancellations prevent others from accessing the support they may urgently need.
Rescheduling Your Postpartum Coaching Session
Additionally, if you’re unable to attend your session, but give at least 24 hours’ notice, you may reschedule it at no additional cost.
- You give at least 24 hours’ notice
- Rescheduling is valid within 30 days of the original booking date.
- To reschedule, visit our Book a Session page or email us with your preferred date and time.
Moreover, timely communication helps us serve every mother with fairness and respect for their time. This ensures your spot is held, without disrupting availability for others needing timely support.
No Refund Policy
Our postpartum support services are customised, time-based offerings. As a result, we do not provide refunds for:
- Missed sessions (no-shows or late logins)
- Partially used session packages
- Completed coaching sessions
However, we remain committed to your experience. If you feel your session did not meet the expectations outlined, you’re welcome to share feedback via our Contact page.
EU Consumer Rights & Coaching Services
As a non-clinical coaching service based in the EU, Her Second Birth operates within the European Union and complies with the EU Consumer Rights Directive. However, coaching sessions fall under Article 16, which exempts digital or scheduled services from refund obligations once the service begins or is confirmed.
For example, once your session is booked and preparation begins, it qualifies as a service in progress. You can read more about this at the official European Consumer Centre website.
Not Sure If You’re Ready to Book?
In contrast to medical appointments or therapy, our sessions are emotional and reflective, not diagnostic. Additionally, you’re never rushed to book before you feel emotionally ready.
For example, if you’re unsure about scheduling your first session, we recommend that you:
- Visit our FAQ Page
- Learn more about What We Offer
- Reach out using our Contact Form
Furthermore, we want you to feel safe, informed, and empowered every step of the way.
